Yards With Stripes Inc is looking for an individual to join our lawn care crew
Hiring Process:
- Step 1: Conversation to schedule in person interview
- Step 2: In person interview
- Step 3: Run Driver's License with our insurance company for approval to drive for our company
- Step 4: Pre-employment Drug Test at AnyLabTestNow
- Step 5: On-the-job paid interview working with the crew for 1-3 days
Qualifications for general crew member ($14-17/hr):
- Must have a valid driver's license, we will have our insurance company run your motor vehicle report for approval to drive for us.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test
- Be able to operate a weed eater, including edging and general weed eating of obstacles such as houses, trees and fences
- Be able to operate a backpack blower with attention to detail including road, sidewalk, entryways, etc
Qualifications for experienced crew member ($17-19/hr):
- Must have a valid driver's license, we will have our insurance company run your motor vehicle report for approval to drive for us.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test
- Be able to operate a weed eater, including edging and general weed eating of obstacles such as houses, trees and fences
- Be able to operate a backpack blower with attention to detail including road, sidewalk, entryways, etc
- Be able to operate zero turn (sit down and stand on) mowers
Qualifications for experienced crew member ($19-21/hr):
- Must have a valid driver's license, we will have our insurance company run your motor vehicle report for approval to drive for us.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test
- Be able to operate a weed eater, including edging and general weed eating of obstacles such as houses, trees and fences
- Be able to operate a backpack blower with attention to detail including road, sidewalk, entryways, etc
- Be able to operate zero turn (sit down and stand on) mowers
- Be able to trim bushes, uplimb trees, maintaining flower beds
Qualifications for experienced crew leader ($21-25/hr):
- Must have a valid driver's license, we will have our insurance company run your motor vehicle report for approval to drive for us.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test
- Be able to operate a weed eater, including edging and general weed eating of obstacles such as houses, trees and fences
- Be able to operate a backpack blower with attention to detail including road, sidewalk, entryways, etc
- Be able to operate zero turn (sit down and stand on) mowers
- Be able to trim bushes, uplimb trees, maintaining flower beds
- Be able to drive the truck (including backing up the trailer as needed)
- Be able to operate our point-of-sale utilizing an android smartphone (phone not provided)
- Bonus Skill: be able to speak with homeowner and quote small projects as you are approached, such as clearing fence rows, clearing out around the bottom of trees, cutting down small trees, removing small bushes, leaf cleanups, etc.
How our pay and work week goes:
- Pay is $14-$25/hour
- Paychecks are weekly
- Normal work week is Mon thru Friday, rain days are typically made up on the weekends.
