Duties/Responsibilities:

- Supporting victims of crime through the Collaborative Response to Elder and Vulnerable Adult Abuse (CREVAA) program through case management, advocacy, and direct services in Knoxville and surrounding counties.
- Screening and supporting victims of crime in compliance with the CREVAA program standards.
- Work occasionally with individuals in law enforcement including District Attorneys and Chief Law Enforcement officials at the state, county and city level.
- Conduct home evaluation visits and phone screenings with reported victims of crime who are elderly or above age 18 with physical or developmental disabilities within an assigned service area.
- Work to support other CREVAA staff to manage follow-up calls, arrange for services, and assist with coordination efforts including community education, outreach, and supporting volunteer development activities.Why Join Our Team:+-+-+

+-+-+Qualifications/Requirements:
Must possess an undergraduate degree from a four-year college or university, (Social Services/Work or Gerontology preferred);
Minimum of one year of experience in Social Services, Gerontology, or related fields.
Must pass a criminal background check by nation, state and local law enforcement agency.
Considerable knowledge of the regulations governing support service programs.
Strong interpersonal, organizational and decision making skills; good presentation skills.
Valid Tennessee Driver license.
Travel required.
