Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a PROGRAM MANAGER (DEPUTY MISSION SUPPORT OFFICER) (TITLE 32), Position Description Number NGD1676P01 and is part of the TN 134th ARW, Air National Guard. This vacancy is not eligible for membership to a labor organization. This is a Dual Bid position with AGR Announcement A24-060. Responsibilities As a PROGRAM MANAGER (DEPUTY MISSION SUPPORT OFFICER) GS-0340-13 (TITLE 32) you will, serves as a full assistant to the Mission Support Group Commander. Assist the Mission Support Group Commander to implement the host Mission Support Group portion of the Designed Operational Capability (DOC) statement of the unit and/or the Emergency War Orders (EWO). Advise the wing staff regarding application and implementation of new technologies that affect host base operations. Ensure 24-hour, multi-shift or on-call command, control, computer systems, and communications (C4), and information management support is provided to all base organizations and assigned geographically separate organizations. Oversee aerial port operations (where assigned by weapons system). Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Military Grades: O-5 GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education, or training in managing or directing, one or more programs, including appropriate supporting service organizations. Supervisory, managerial, professional, or technical work experience and/or training which has provided knowledge of management principles, practices, methods and techniques. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have year at the next lower level or 36 months specialized experience includes analyzing problems, identifying significant factors, gathering pertinent data, and recognizing solutions; preparing reports, plans, policies and various correspondence; evaluating objectives and develop plans to facilitate the availability and effective utilization of various resources. Must have knowledge of the organization and its mission and utilized the organizational staff procedures. Experience applying analytical and evaluative techniques to issues or studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of program operations carried out by administrative or professional personnel, or substantive administrative support functions. Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel.
