Supervisory and administrative work involving the management of the Long-Term Care CHOICES program which provides home and community-based support services to eligible consumers.

Responsible for the compliance of the LTC CHOICES Program with governing regulations.

Assist with the selection and assignment of personnel.

Assist with the planning of annual budgets.

Assist with grant applications, planning monthly training sessions for staff, and review infield assessments, reassessments and service plans as needed.

Graduation from an accredited four year college of university with a B.A. (B.S.) Degree in Social Services, Nursing, Human Services, or related filed;

Considerable experience managing a social service agency or department;

Considerable experience supervising administrative and program support staff;

Strong organizational, interpersonal, decision-making skills, and ability to develop and monitor detailed program budgets and develop effective administrative practices to ensure program compliance;

Ability to make effective public presentations; or

Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Valid Tennessee Driver license.

Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have year at the next lower level or 36 months specialized experience includes analyzing problems, identifying significant factors, gathering pertinent data, and recognizing solutions; preparing reports, plans, policies and various correspondence; evaluating objectives and develop plans to facilitate the availability and effective utilization of various resources. Must have knowledge of the organization and its mission and utilized the organizational staff procedures. Experience applying analytical and evaluative techniques to issues or studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of program operations carried out by administrative or professional personnel, or substantive administrative support functions. Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel.
