Project Coordinator

Summary: The primary responsibility of the Project Coordinator is to organize jobs, order necessary equipment, and to facilitate communication between manufacturers, general contractors, owners, and United Elevator Services.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Project Coordination:

Organize the process of jobs, facilitating communication between manufacturers, general contractors, owners, and United Elevator Services.

Release jobs to production with the manufacturer upon approval, clearly and accurately communicating customer specifications and delivery expectations.

Work directly with Superintendents and Field Supervisors for project accuracy.

Collect payment for completed construction jobs.

Organize closeout documents.

Order Management:

Order permits.

Issue change orders.

Order submittals and revised prints.

Issue purchase orders for new installations, RMA reports, and warranty parts.

Communication and Liaison:

Facilitate effective communication between manufacturers, general contractors, owners, and United Elevator Services.

Provide clear and accurate updates to all parties involved in the projects.

Record Keeping and Reporting:

Maintain detailed records of project specifications and status.

Ensure all documentation related to job orders, change orders, and closeouts is accurate and up-to-date.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This role has no supervisory responsibilities.Qualifications:

High school diploma, or equivalent.

Minimum two (2) years of relevant work experience in planning and scheduling.

Four (4) year college degree or higher in business, scheduling or construction. (Preferred)Language Ability:

Effectively communicate in both oral and written form with employees, clients, vendors, and management. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Must have good grammar, voice, and diction.Computer and Office Skills:
