Special Care Incorporated is currently hiring to fill full-time and part-time positions for caregivers in the Knoxville, Oak Ridge, and Clinton areas!
We are a non-medical home health agency that specializes in assisting our patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as cooking, dressing, bathing, light housekeeping, and running errands.
We are looking for new employees who enjoy helping others and are interested in making a living doing it.
As a non-medical agency, we accept applicants with no experience in this field. We are happy to train those with little or no experience who would like to enter this field, as well as those looking for job credits for nursing programs through a paid internship.
We currently have two priority cases to staff: One in the Sutherland Ave. area of Knoxville and the second in Oak Ridge.
Sutherland Ave. Case Description: Female client; 11 hours per day, 9:00am-8:00pm on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Saturdays; Services: Light housekeeping, meal preparation, personal care assistance, errands
Oak Ridge Case: Male client; 5 hours per day, 8:00am-1:00pm Monday-Friday & 4 hours per day, 8:00am-12:00pm Saturday & Sunday; Services: Light housekeeping, meal preparation, errands No Personal Care Required Important: Applicants for this case must be available 4 weekend days per month.
Applicants are not required to work these priority case, but will receive expedited consideration if able to accept any of the priority shifts. A variety of other shifts are available for applicants who wish to work additional hours beyond these shifts.
Job Requirements:
-Must be 18+ years old
-Must pass criminal background check with no violent felonies
-Must pass federal and state sex offender registry checks
-Must have personal transportation (clients do have errands as part of their services and aides must be able to run them)
-Previous experience a plus but not required
