Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Memphis, Tennessee. This role is centered around the finance industry, requiring you to handle vendor transactions, maintain account files, and perform administrative duties. Responsibilities: Enter and manage vendor transaction data in the computer system Oversee the payment process for receipts of raw materials while maintaining the Goods Receipt Invoice Receipt account Address and reconcile any discrepancies between receiving and invoices Conduct research to resolve vendor-related questions or issues Maintain the Accounts Payable filing systems diligently Review purchase order instructions on taxable, non-taxable, or self-assessed items and update vendor transaction information accordingly Process and maintain copies of invoices associated with capital expenditures Review and request refunds from vendors due to open credits Handle administrative duties as required May be assigned other related duties as needed. Skills: Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience in billing procedures and data entry Familiarity with invoice processing Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Knowledge of administrative procedures and skills.
