Join our team of professionals in delivering strategic and tactical guidance to senior leadership in support of pursuit development efforts.Recruiting for this role ends on 3/31/2025What You'll DoDeloitte's GPS Sales Excellence team seeks a Business Development Executive for their Enterprise Contract Vehicle (ECV) Go to Market team (GTM) with deep experience driving, shaping, and capturing large, complex deals in the Federal markets. This position is established to support GPS-wide growth strategies in the following ways: 1) advise account teams on strategic contracting options within the current ECV portfolio that help create a competitive advantage in the GPS markets they serve; and 2) capture new governmentwide contract vehicles to expand the ECV portfolio.You will be part of a team dedicated to all elements of driving pipeline growth and sales through the ECV portfolio, including shaping work to existing vehicles and capturing new governmentwide contract vehicles. In this role you will:

Contribute to creating an environment that encourages the development and growth of our professionals

Orchestrate and/or conduct discussions with stakeholders to understand requirements and risk areas; understand core requirements and client needs

Understand contract vehicle differentiators to inform contract vehicle selection/acquisition shaping strategy; integrate into proposal teams across all GPS federal sectors to provide contract vehicle expertise during the capture process

Partner with Capture Executives, Pursuit Leaders and Account leadership to submit winning and compliant proposals for new governmentwide vehicles

Use various research tools and databases to collect historical information to inform fact-based shaping recommendations; assess incumbent and likely competitor teams

Ability to develop external relationships with governmentwide contract administering agencies and other industry partners to promote Deloitte brand eminence in greater governmentwide acquisition community

QualificationsRequired:

10+ years work experience

Experience with any of the following: Federal contracting, strategic capture, solutions and proposal development

Experience with contract vehicles available for governmentwide use

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Excellent communicator - both written and oral

Excellent negotiation skills

Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. This may include overnight travel.

Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Preferred:

Proven ability to establish relationships internally and externally

Experience with GSA, NITAAC, and/ or NASA contracts

Experience with market research stage of acquisition lifecycle with combined experience in any of the following: writing or reviewing Requests for Information and/ or Sources Sought, writing or reviewing White Papers, other formats written or oral communicating contract vehicle recommendations

Research experience using government contracting tools, such as FPDS.gov, Deltek, and/ or Bloomberg

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
