Network Administrator

Description We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Network Administrator to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and security of our entire network infrastructure. You will ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security for all our users and applications.Responsibilities:Network Management:

Design, implement, and maintain local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs).

Configure and manage network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.

Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues proactively.

Implement network security measures and ensure compliance with security policies.

Maintain up-to-date network documentation.

Server Administration:

Install, configure, and maintain network servers running various operating systems.

Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control.

Implement and manage disaster recovery and backup solutions.

Perform regular system updates and maintenance.

Technical Support:

Provide technical support to internal users regarding network connectivity and access issues.

Investigate and resolve complex network problems.

Collaborate with other IT team members to diagnose and resolve escalated issues.

Stay up-to-date on emerging network technologies and best practices.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a network administrator role.

Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking protocols and technologies.

Experience with network administration tools and software (e.g., Cisco, Microsoft, Linux).

Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Certifications in CCNA, MCSA, or equivalent preferred.
