Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/The Procurement Analyst supports all internal efforts for sourcing, supplier management and purchase order execution. This role will also support all new production introduction (NPI) launches as needed for the business unit. The role requires a clear bias toward action and attention to detail. Through internal coordination with Marketing, R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, and Distribution personnel, this role is responsible for ensuring all inventory and supplier metrics are achieved.Key Responsibilities:
Develop deep supplier relationships with strategic suppliers to include data review and analysis, performance management and development and improvement of end to end value, and bring innovation to the business.
Receive, analyze, and resolve supplier inquiries, disputes, and payment discrepancies
Develop and lead new supplier selection initiatives; Prepare and execute RFQs for complex sourcing decisions; Conduct negotiations with suppliers.
Manage supplier communications, including issue resolution, pricing terms negotiations, and contracting
Daily interaction with internal production and planning departments and external suppliers.
Expedites materials and solves material rejection problems.
QualificationsEducation:
Associate's Degree is required. A Bachelors Degree is preferred
Experience and Skills:
2 years of related business experience is required
Experience with supplier selection preferred
Medical industry / technical knowledge required
Strong analytical skills
Proficient in MS excel is required
Experience in ERP Systems (SAP Preferred)
