Senior Social Media Specialist

Description We are seeking a Senior Social Media Specialist to join our clients Social Media team in the healthcare industry. As an integral part of the Social Media team, you will focus on crafting effective, multi-platform organic and paid media content and campaigns to shine a spotlight on research, patient care, and workplace culture.Location: Hybrid (first 90 days are onsite)Employment Type: W2 Contract, 8 month contract, FT (40 hours a week)Start Date: November 11thW2 Pay Rate: $35-45/hrResponsibilities:

Collaboratively and independently develop monthly editorial write, review, and edit engaging social media content, guaranteeing strategic messaging, accuracy, and adherence to brand guidelines.

Design and implement organic and paid social media campaigns.

Manage daily content for our social media channels, including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.

Monitor social media conversations, traffic, and trends using social media listening tools.

Confident in creating presentations with social media data and presenting to stakeholders those strategies for increased web traffic.

Collaborate with our marketing team to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns.

Engage with and identify growth opportunities for our target audiences across all social media channels.

Maintain an editorial calendar for key social media initiatives in partnership with the Social Media Manager.

Contribute to developing and implementing a social media employee advocacy program.

Monitor social media performance by tracking metrics and analyzing campaign and messaging effectiveness.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in social media marketing, preferably in the healthcare industry.

Experience with Hootsuite

Strong strategist with a keen eye for detail and creative thinking skills.

Energetic, self-starter, and resourceful problem solver with excellent written and oral communication skills.

Ability to effectively manage multiple projects with competing priorities.

Detail-oriented with excellent critical listening and analytical thinking skills.
