DescriptionDynamic and innovative, Robert Half Technology has an opening for a creative Software Engineer to join the team of a client here in Memphis. As a part of a hard working and deeply passionate team, you will play a pivotal role as the Software Engineer in developing new platforms and maintaining existing systems. The full-time Software Engineer opportunity is located in Memphis, TN.Key responsibilities
Gauge new technologies and create prototypes for constant improvements
Operate closely with the product team to build new features and infrastructure
Plan and apply back end and front end components and services
Refine solutions which account for scalability and optimize performance
Construct excellent production-ready code in an agile environment
Work with internal customers to provide best in class solutions using technology to improve the use of data and the customer experience
Requirements
5+ years software engineering experience
You have been through the planning, launching and refactoring phases of code you have personally authored using C# and Javascript primarily
Experience with web application frameworks such as C#, .net, Java, JavaScript, etc
Strong relational database management systems expertise. You can write a query to do almost anything
Foundational knowledge in Microsoft SQL Server and/or DB2
Experience with MVC or Web API design
