Who knows where our shared journey will take you?Siemens Industry is seeking a Warehouse Solutions Design Project Manager for our SI Logistics team. This role combines engineering knowledge, project management, and people management. The primary focus is on enhancing warehouse efficiency, managing improvement projects, and designing layouts. Responsibilities include documenting processes, introducing new products, overseeing capital expenditures, implementing cost-saving measures, designing fixtures, resolving issues, and improving IT and production systems. This position is essential for advancing SI Logistics' objectives.We are looking for a Warehouse Solutions Design Project Manager. This position will be based at our Southaven, MS Distribution Center.Role Responsibilities:Project Planning & Execution

Project Management: Lead projects such as warehouse design and setup, including transitions and start-ups. Develop project plans, manage scope, set quality standards, and assess risks.

Project Forecasting: Identify and manage projects requiring capital expenditures, cost savings, CAD design, and installation.

People Management

Project Collaboration: Work with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align drawings with project objectives and requirements.

Coordination and Communication: Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure smooth project execution and resolve issues.

Digitalization: Work with the digitalization team to implement tools like Digital Work Instructions and Performance Dashboards.

Continuous Improvement

Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with AutoCAD features and industry best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Facility and Maintenance: Support improvements in production areas and evaluate manufacturing software applications.

Quality Assurance: Perform thorough reviews and quality checks on drawings for accuracy and compliance.

Solution Design & Optimization

Design and Drafting: Leverage AutoCAD to create 2D and 3D technical drawings for building automation and energy management projects, including plans, layouts, and wiring diagrams.

Design Modifications: Update existing drawings based on project requirements and feedback.

Standards and Compliance: Ensure drawings meet Siemens Smart Infrastructure standards, industry codes, and regulatory requirements

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

Minimum of 8 years’ experience working in a Warehouse or Distribution Center

Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a Project Management role

Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing a team

Proficiency in AutoCAD software, (creating 2D and 3D technical drawings)

Experience with SAP or similar MRP system

Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

8+ years of project management experience

Bachelor's degree preferred in the following areas: engineering, supply chain, business or architecture

Master ‘s degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field

APICS Certifications (CPIM, CSCP)

Project Management Certifications (PMP, Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S)

Strong understanding of building automation systems and solutions.

Familiarity with industry standards and codes relevant to building automation.

Experience working with 3PLs, RFPs, & RFQs

Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex design challenges and propose effective solutions.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team and interact with clients or stakeholders.

Attention to detail and accuracy in creating and reviewing technical drawings.

Time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.

The pay range for this position is $118,800 - $203,700 and the annual incentive target is 15% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
