Fulfillment Operations Manager, Medicare - Hybrid

In this role you would be responsible for direct management of day-to-day operations of the Medicare Advantage Fulfillment Operation team. This requires strong leadership competencies to effectively manage the daily operations and activities needed in a fast paced, high performing culture. The Fulfillment Operations manager oversees a team responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of customer communications, including business requirements, testing, daily production activities, quality controls, reporting, issue resolution, process enhancements and vendor management. Success in this role requires strong organization skills, critical and analytic skills, and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with matrix partners. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion and commitment to help establish and support department processes and protocols that support business goals and team needs.What you’ll do:

Manage a team of business analysts and processors, creating a culture of highly engaged employees

Be responsible for human resource functions for all direct reports to include, but not limited to: hiring, adherence to all policies and procedures, attendance, quarterly check-in process, employee development, succession planning and corrective action

Motivate others and encourages innovation, continually searching for opportunities to streamline processes to ensure maximum efficiency

Communicate effectively, and provide updates to leadership and cross functional matrix partners

Work collaboratively with business to define requirements, processes, resolutions, and deliverable timelines

Understand Fulfillment job functions and operating environment to review processes and understand critical control points and operational risk management

Analyze and interpret Fulfillment data and collateral documents to ensure accuracy

Monitor, drive and facilitate individual growth of your teams’ individual contributors

Develop and maintain interactive relationships with matrix partners to support process change initiatives

Participate in strategic planning to achieve business alignment with the team, leadership chain, and with customers

Track and report Fulfillment KPI’s

Provide oversight of peak season project work for Fulfillment collaterals including business requirements, testing, and strategic initiatives

Requirements:

HS Diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred

5+ years leadership exposure, including ability to effectively develop and assist team members, experience training and coaching

Fulfillment, vendor management, operations experience preferred

Demonstrated understanding of company products, services, overall business architecture

Demonstrated leadership

Strong attention to detail, organization, and prioritization skills

Ability to manage a remote workforce

Strong communication skills, written and verbal

Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other areas to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions

Ability to execute on quality management activities – test plan, scenarios, cases, status reporting, issue management – small to medium sized projects

Ability to adapt to a dynamic working environment and make timely independent decisions

A passion for people management and mentorship

Ability to work both independently and while contributing as part of a team

Demonstrated ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively across organizations

This position is hybrid, requiring 3 days of in office work at a listed location, with a primary work schedule of Monday-Friday normal business hours, or as business needs dictate.If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 83,000 - 138,300 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.We want you to be healthy, balanced, and feel secure.
