Job Description:Seeking highly skilled and motivated Transportation Specialists to join this rapidly growing team. This team drives the end-to-end operational execution of all loads (internal and external) shipped on our network. The team supports regions and shippers across the Supply Chain network and ensures the on-time pickup and delivery of freight from vendors, fulfillment centers (FCs), rail yards, and shipper hubs. In the case of disruptions, the Operations team addresses the issue, keeps all stakeholders informed, and ensures timely resolution. The team is the first line of defense in understanding network trends, delays, dwells, and other exceptions that impact their ability to deliver a world-class transportation product that serves its customers on time.Qualifications:

1+ years of working with computers and Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, and Excel) experience

Previous experience in the Logistics space

High school or equivalent diploma

Work Environment:

2 weeks of training fully onsite

2 days hybrid, 2 days in office. Work schedule will be Sunday – Wednesday OR Wednesday – Saturday from 6:30am to 5pm or 6am to 4:30pm

  • Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a SUPPORT SERVICES SPECIALIST (TITLE 32), Position Description Number NGD1595P01 and is part of the TN ARMY Army National Guard. This vacancy is not eligible for membership to a labor organization. Responsibilities As a SUPPORT SERVICES SPECIALIST, GS-0342-09, you will plan, program, direct and coordinate the administrative functions of the state National Guard (NG). Coordinate all administrative functions within the operating components of the state to provide the most effective support; forecast problems and needs, identify required resources to include budget, and develop staff facilities and procedures to carry out the resulting program; provide leadership in negotiating with operating personnel and in securing acceptance of proposed programs. Plan and assign work to be accomplished within the branch. Sets priorities and prepares schedules for completion of work.
