Job DescriptionWarehouse Assistant/Light Assembly Job DescriptionThe Warehouse Assistant supports various warehouse roles through overseeing incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and conditions of shipments. They will help in the coordination of receiving incoming material, the fulfillment of outgoing product, and assist in the completion of facilities and maintenance work as needed by our Facilities Department. They are responsible for counting and inventorying items, receiving and checking the contents of packages against packing lists and manifests material handling, shipping, labeling, creating checkpoints for errors, storage, and transportation.Responsibilities:

Determining shipping priorities, movement of shipments, work assignments and shipping methods required to meet shipping and receiving schedules

Ensuring shipping area is organized and clean at all times and meets all safety compliance factors

Inspecting incoming materials and notifying appropriate staff of potential quality issues

Compiling and maintaining applicable metrics as required

Maintaining reverse-distribution processes

Documenting daily inactive and damaged inventory

Performing monthly inventory checks

Receiving and inspecting returned products

Maintaining reverse-distribution processes

May assist with fulfillment of orders/portal as needed

Assisting in labeling, packaging, kitting, and assembly

Assists with Cycle Counting

Investigating and solving customer problems and issues

Facilities and upkeep of warehouse/call center location as needed

Other duties as needed

Maintain overflow customer service emails for busy programs department.

Process overflow emails

Back up on live chat

Take overflow customer service calls

Skills:Experience in all aspects of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook is expected. Experience with online chat and screen share is a big plus. Strong written and oral communication skills are essential.
