This National Guard position is for a SUPPORT SERVICES SPECIALIST (TITLE 32), Position Description Number NGD1595P01 and is part of the TN ARMY Army National Guard. This vacancy is not eligible for membership to a labor organization. Responsibilities As a SUPPORT SERVICES SPECIALIST, GS-0342-09, you will plan, program, direct and coordinate the administrative functions of the state National Guard (NG). Coordinate all administrative functions within the operating components of the state to provide the most effective support; forecast problems and needs, identify required resources to include budget, and develop staff facilities and procedures to carry out the resulting program; provide leadership in negotiating with operating personnel and in securing acceptance of proposed programs. Plan and assign work to be accomplished within the branch. Sets priorities and prepares schedules for completion of work. Conduct studies and surveys, analyze data in order to recommend the selection and utilization of the most efficient equipment and supplies associated with records management activities.
