Pay Rate:
$15/hour + Tips
Duties and Responsibilities:
Acknowledge and greet every guest in a timely fashion
Deliver exceptional, personalized service to every guest
Resolve customer issues and complaints in an effective manner, retain customer satisfaction
Prepare hot and cold beverages
Bake off pastries for the day’s service – Employee will bake muffins, cookies, scones, biscuits, cinnamon rolls, etc. No mixing or production will be involved.
Assemble biscuit sandwiches based on daily pars
Process and expedite payment with accuracy and efficiency
Educate guests on origins, preparation and presentation of the products we offer
Follow recipes, specifications and procedures explicitly
Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the facility and equipment
Additional cleaning, dishwashing and organizing as well as unloading deliveries
Requirements:
1+ years of barista experience preferred but willing to train the right personality
Availability to work early mornings and weekends (regular Friday-Sunday availability is a requirement)
Must be professional, friendly, positive, punctual, teamwork oriented, energetic, organized, thorough and teachable
Excellent verbal and written skills
The ability to stand on your feet for 6+ hours
The ability to multitask and pay attention to detail
The ability to lift 25+ pounds
The ability to safely, carefully and properly make and serve beverage and food products
Must adhere to training of all policies, manuals and procedures put in place by Slow Hand Coffee + Bakeshop
Proficient in the English language
Knowledge of various coffee brewing techniques, methods and terminology
Ability to comply with health department regulations
Ability to take direction from management
