Superior Skilled Trades is currently seeking experienced Asphalt Curb and Gutter Laborers for temp-to-perm projects in the Lebanon, TN area. This is a great opportunity to join a growing team with steady work, competitive pay, and long-term potential.
WEEKLY PAY | TEMP-TO-PERM OPPORTUNITY
Pay: $18–$25/hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (8-hour shifts)
Start Date: ASAP
Position Overview:
As an Asphalt Curb and Gutter Laborer, you will assist in the preparation, forming, pouring, and finishing of concrete curbs and gutters, as well as support asphalt paving operations. You’ll work with a crew to complete road and sitework projects according to safety regulations, project specifications, and production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Set and align forms for curbs, gutters, and sidewalks according to project grades
Assist in grading, compacting, and site preparation for both asphalt and concrete work
Pour and finish concrete for curbs and gutters using hand and power tools
Rake, shovel, and level asphalt during paving operations
Operate small tools and equipment such as tampers, compactors, and saws
Ensure proper slope and drainage in both asphalt and concrete surfaces
Clean and maintain job sites, tools, and equipment
Follow all safety procedures and wear proper PPE at all times
Qualifications:
Experience with curb & gutter forming and finishing and/or asphalt paving work - 1 year preferred
Ability to read grades and follow project plans
Skilled in using hand tools such as rakes, shovels, screeds, and trowels
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Able to lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physically demanding tasks including standing, bending, and kneeling for long periods
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a crew
Additional Requirements:
Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
Must have reliable transportation to and from the job sites and be able to go to various locations within 30-40 miles.
Must pass a drug screening
