Pay: $18–$32/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
Start Date: ASAP
Position Overview:
As a Concrete Finisher Laborer – Curb and Gutter, you will assist with the preparation, forming, pouring, and finishing of concrete for curbs and gutters. You’ll support the concrete crew with general labor tasks to ensure work is completed according to safety guidelines, project specifications, and production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in setting and aligning forms for concrete curbs and gutters according to grade
Help with site preparation including grading, compacting, and cleanup
Pour, spread, and rough-finish concrete using hand tools
Support finishing tasks such as edging, jointing, and surface smoothing
Strip forms and assist with form setup and maintenance
Operate small tools and equipment such as tampers, saws, and compactors
Ensure proper drainage and finish quality of concrete work
Maintain a clean and safe worksite, tools, and equipment
Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times
Qualifications:
1+ year experience with concrete labor or curb and gutter work preferred
Familiarity with concrete hand tools (shovels, rakes, trowels, screeds, etc.)
Ability to take direction and work as part of a crew
Physically able to lift 50 lbs and perform strenuous tasks outdoors in all weather
Basic understanding of grades and site layout a plus
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
Additional Requirements:
Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
Must have reliable transportation to and from job sites (within 30–40 miles)
Must pass a drug screening
Job requires proper use of PPE: Steel-toe boots, safety vest, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves
