As a Foreman at Premier Design Build, you are at the core of the business. Working with our Superintendents, working with your hands and at times leading field crews to get the work done.
Ideal candidates are skillful builders with hands-on experience in construction. They will be motivated, hardworking and goal oriented. An ideal candidate will love doing the work and helping others learn to do great work. They are driven to build every project like it is their own.
Essential Functions
- Self-perform work (can include site prep, excavation, underground utility install, concrete, carpentry - rough, trim, doors and hardware - bathroom accessories etc.)
- Manage labor crew
- Supervising both self-performed work and subcontractor work
- Be the companies onsite Point of Contact when a Superintendent is not onsite
- Ensure schedules stay on track
- Write and process change orders
- Conduct site visit walkthroughs with clients, officials and subcontractors
- Maintain rented and owned machinery & equipment
- Use ProCore for all documentation
- Receiving & documenting of materials
- Be the onsite contact for directing laborers and answering questions
- Manage and maintain onsite safety culture
Secondary Functions
- Daily reports
- Safety reporting – JHA's, Toolbox Talks and Safety Inspections
