Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Addison, Texas. Operating in the Oil & Gas - Exploration & Production industry, this role revolves around maintaining precise accounting records, processing credit applications, and resolving customer inquiries.Responsibilities: Execute accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications Uphold precise records of customer credits Take necessary action upon monitoring customer accounts Utilize Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services for various accounting functions Handle account coding and usage of Concur for transaction purposes Carry out Accrual Accounting and necessary auditing tasks Process transactions through Automated Clearing House (ACH) Ensure efficient use of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for accounting operations Maintain open communication channels for customer queries and provide exceptional service. Requirements Proficiency in Account Coding is required for this position. Must have experience with various Accounting Software Systems. Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is a prerequisite. Ability to utilize Concur software effectively is a must. Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is necessary. Should have comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions. Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is required. Must have a good understanding of Accrual Accounting. Auditing skills are imperative for this role. Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) processes is needed.
