This includes performing billing and accounting duties related to grant accounting, corresponding with outside granting agencies and assisting faculty and staff with various grant accounting needs.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manage subawards inbox.
Accounts Reconciliation for Subaward POs.
Setup new awards.
Process budget and cost transfers.
Manage Grant Accounting inbox.
Correspond with outside granting agencies, University Grants and Contracts department, as well as PIs and administrative staff.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting with two (2) years of experience in governmental or commercial accounting or equivalent relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Team oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of People soft Financials.
Experience in Higher Education.
