QualificationsHere’s What You Need:· Bachelor’s Degree is required.· Master's Degree MBA or MHA is strongly preferred.· 3 Years with a heavy emphasis in one or more of the following areas: financial analysis, financial reporting, financial operations, database management, cost accounting and departmental operations is required.· Other Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) and/or Certified Materials & Resources Professionals (CMRP) upon hire is preferred.Skills:· Strong PC skills and experience with relational databases along with the full suite of Microsoft Office applications is required.· Experience with a wide range of analytic tools and able to manage various sources of data.· Additionally, must be prepared to present and defend data in a variety of settings.What You Will Do:DATA MANAGEMENT & COMPUTER PROFICIENCY:Proficient in the use of PC-based systems and strong financial computer systems knowledge, including Microsoft Office systems, and analytic programs such as Alteryx or RStudio.Simplify and reduce manual processes by automating analysis through Alteryx using scripting language such as SQL, Python or R programming language and providing outputs to internal customers in friendly formats such as reports or dashboards through Tableau.Skilled in exploratory data analysis to perform initial investigations on data to discover patterns, to spot anomalies, to test hypothesis and to check assumptions with the help of summary statistics and graphical representations.Perform and support data-driven analyses that define, measure, and investigate current operational trends, financial trends, and strategic insights.Create, maintain update and distribute customer-facing and internal dashboards that track customer analytics and key performance indicators.Coordinate system development with IT to enhance automation opportunities and efforts to support ongoing data enrichment opportunities.Ensure data accuracyWork with GPO and other data providers to establish reporting standards.Interface with a wide range of stakeholders (clinical and nonclinical) of management to determine requirements for data, reports, analyses, training, data quality, and performance.Capable of working with disparate sources of information to create cohesive reporting packages and comprehensive analyses.Able to assist others with use of technology to support financial/clinical analysis.Capable of performing system analyst tasks to understand how data interfaces with and affects the decision support process.FINANCIAL/OPERATIONAL/CLINICAL ANALYSIS:Responsible for having working knowledge of hospital finance concepts including revenue cycle, budgeting, and ROI. Responsibilities may include, but not be limited to:Assist team in preparation and presentation of product, service, and equipment analyses to a wide range of stakeholders.Able to perform ad hoc analysis as needed for a facility or facilities, as directed.Capable of defending data integrity utilized for economic, operational, and clinical decisions.COMMUNICATION/TRAINING:Must have strong, effective interpersonal skills with good communication abilities to allow effective interaction with all levels of personnel. Responsibilities may include, but not be limited to:Develop and lead training programs for new and current users of all data sources.Capable of making professional presentations to staff, directors, and others as directed or required.Exceptional organizational skills and effective use of available resources. Responsibilities The successful candidate will perform the full range of Senior Reactor Inspector duties. Such duties include but are not limited to: 1. Leads teams in inspecting and evaluating the effectiveness of a wide variety of licensee engineering programs, processes, and support activities for reactor facilities in such areas as design verification, plant modifications, equipment qualification, and equipment evaluation including equipment aging, maintenance, performance and testing. Other inspection responsibilities may include in-service inspection, structural and material integrity, aging management, and license renewal; mechanical systems and components such as pumps, valves, ventilation, and heat exchangers; and electrical engineering and/or instrumentation and controls (I&C), fire protection and cyber security. 2. Resolves and assists others in resolving complex engineering technical inspection issues within the regulatory framework, especially with respect to the enforcement, allegation, and significance determination processes, and efficiently/effectively communicates these issues to higher level officials. 3. Participates in emergency response to plant events and participates in and leads reactive team inspections (e.g., special inspection teams.). 4. Participates in NRC communication/out-reach initiatives involving licensees, the public, and federal, state, and local officials. 5. Provides leadership in assigned program areas, ensuring program needs are met, branch participation in decisions, and appropriate information is disseminated. 6. Actively pursues interactions and maintains professional contacts with Agency counterparts in areas of technical responsibility and leads/participates in related assessment, regulatory, and improvement initiatives. 7. A candidate is required to be a fully qualified NRC inspector under NRC Inspection Manual Chapter (IMC) 1245 via either Appendix C-1 or C-2 (or as an alternative, “grandfathered in” under one of those appendices). The selectee will be expected to expeditiously work on and qualify to NRC Inspection Manual Chapter (IMC) 1245, Appendices C-2, “Reactor Engineering Inspector Technical Proficiency Training and Qualification Journal,\" if not already successfully completed. Regardless of the grade level of the vacancy, candidates for Federal Government professional engineering positions must meet certain basic professional knowledge requirements. Generally, these knowledge requirements are met by having a bachelor\'s or higher degree in a relevant professional engineering discipline (e.g., nuclear, electrical, mechanical, metallurgical, structural, chemical) from a school of engineering with at least one professional engineering curriculum accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).
