We are looking for a great person to join our team - we have a Support Guide position available in our primary (3 to 6-year-old) classroom. This position will work directly with a certified Lead Guide in their respective environment and is an excellent opportunity to join an authentic Montessori school that values community, respect, and creativity. Many of our Support Guides have gone on to acquire their Montessori certifications to become Lead Guides as well.
Positions are year round, including summer and our schedule closely mirrors AISD's school year calendar. We have a summer program that runs for 8 weeks in June and July. Our hours of operation are 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (no nights or weekends). Occasionally we have events, training, or meetings outside of those hours.
Our ideal candidate will be nurturing, honest, and hard working (of course). While we prefer you to have Montessori experience, it is not required. However, a willingness to learn and adopt the philosophy in practice is required - it's a beautiful thing and we know this won't be a concern. We are kind of an awesome place to work for where you will be a valued member of our team.
