The Magnolia School is looking to hire a preschool teacher for an immediate start. You will work in a 4-5 year old classroom with up to 16 children alongside our other preschool teaching team. Paid training and professional development is provided. Excellent work life balance for employees with 7 weeks of paid school closures per year.
Responsibilities:
Instruct preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
Create a fun and safe learning environment
Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
Maintain the health and safety of all students
Teach beginning academics, social/emotional skills, learning skills and play skills
Qualifications:
Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields
Passionate about working with children
Ability to build rapport with children and their parents
Positive and patient demeanor
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
