Custom Builders Austin LLC is looking for a qualified and experienced freelance Professional Engineer (PE) to join our team. Your primary role will be to review and seal drawings for both commercial and residential remodeling and new construction projects to ensure compliance with local permitting requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Review architectural and structural drawings for accuracy and compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Provide professional engineering seals on drawings for permitting purposes.
- Collaborate with our design and construction teams to ensure project success.
- Assist in obtaining permits from local authorities.
Requirements:
- Must hold a valid Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas.
- Experience in commercial and residential construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of local building codes and permitting processes.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
