Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Structural Drafting Technician to join our team. A successful candidate will work closely with Professional Engineers (P.E.) to develop and draft structural plans and details, as well as assist with some on-site appointments. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem solving and collaborating on creative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with P.E. to create detailed structural plans and drawings
Assist in conducting on-site assessments
Ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant building codes and standards
Participate in project meetings and contribute to design solutions
Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively
Requirements:
Proficient in residential structural drafting
Competent in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
