Job DescriptionAnalyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.As a member of the software engineering division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. The team engages across all aspects of software development lifecycle from performance perspective including architecture and design reviews, performance benchmarking and analysis.Fusion Order Management Cloud is a set of products being developed using latest ADF, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) concepts. We are using all the latest technology BPEL, ADFbc, Jdeveloper, Java and so on. OM will help orchestrate and fulfill orders across multiple backend systems including ERP, workforce management, and legacy and partner systems.The person performing this role is responsible for core development of performance/monitoring analyzers, building knowledge base for generating performance recommendations, coach the teams for performance related activities.As a Senior Performance Engineer, you will be a leading contributor in improving performance of Fusion Order Management Cloud. If you have a passion for improving and creating high performance software products, this is the place where you can make a difference.The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:= Possess experience in performance, scalability & reliability testing using automation tools - preferably LoadRunner / Oracle Application Testing Suite Experience of Cloud Technologies - Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka and others Good knowledge on Cloud environment performance testing, experience in OCI testing is an added advantage Strong Architectural concepts around Cloud Computing Strong analytical, diagnostic, and resolving performance and scaling issues. Experience in CPU & memory profiling tools like Quantify/Purify/GlowCode/JProbe/JProfiler would be an added advantage. Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) and scripting languages (Unix shell scripting, Perl, java programming) an added advantage. Experience with database performance engineering. Front-End/Browser level performance testing and optimization experience.Responsibilities :As a member of the Performance Engineering organization, you will be: Debug Performance issues in Order Management Cloud Product and make fixes. Developing automation scripts using LoadRunner/OracleLoadTestingTool or other automation tool as may be required for the project. Executing performance, scalability, reliability, and system tests. Use standard profiling tools to identify and fix CPU, Memory and Network bottlenecks. Develop optimizations to improve performance and scalability. Participate in and contribute to product design/product feature discussions (both within engineering and with others in the company). Work with various development , QA and product management teams related to projects.
