Dell’s ability to leverage high-quality, seamless and consistent data to deliver personalized experiences to our customers is dependent on strong customer data management and data governance capabilities.Join us to do the best work of your career and make a profound impact as a Customer Data Business Data Steward in our Marketing Strategy & Operations team in Austin, United States .What you’ll achieveWe are looking to bring on a key talent in the form of a business data steward who will be responsible to map and understand key business processes, the critical customer data required for those processes, and design optimal solutions to deliver that data. You will then support change in the adoption of a future state data model while enforcing compliance to security, privacy, quality, and other data management principles.You will:
Facilitates implementing Quality Management System in specific segments/groups including Federal accounts
Measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the current data model in delivering intended business outcomes
Apply basic process principles to identify root causes, inefficiencies, gaps etc. of customer data use or availability for the success of these business processes
Develop knowledge and expertise on Dell’s customer data ecosystem; leverage that knowledge to support the integrity of the customer data use
Conducts internal process audits to assess the functioning and process compliance in small and medium projects - Reviews process changes and prepares QMS process artifacts such as business rules, procedures, work instructions, templates, training materials and policies

Typically requires 5+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3+ years with a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent experience
Problem-solving skills: the ability to analyze and identify issues, and business impact, draw conclusions, and prioritize
Data literacy: finding and managing data, cleansing data, manipulating data
Quick learning of 1-2 key process lifecycles (e.g. Order to Deliver to Cash, Issue to Resolution, etc) and experience in working in agile: Ability to coordinate small cross-functional teams to action and progress
Process / Procedural Mapping Experience / Process Re-Engineering or a background in Quality Management System / ISO
Desirable Requirements
Degree in Information Systems, Data Science or Engineering
Experience in working with SQL Query, Python, Basic Understanding of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, Tableau, Power BI, Data Analysis and Advanced in Excel
