Position Summary:This position will assist with Data Collection activities for the Food is the Best Medicine (FBM) Study. FBM is a home food delivery-based program for postpartum women located in Austin, Texas. Collects participant survey data and conducts participant interviews, primarily over phone and Teams/WebEx. Assists with qualitative data analyses and reporting. Assists Community Healthcare Workers (CHW) during home visits to participant’s home.Position Key Accountabilities:
Contacts study participants to schedule interviews and surveys, usually by telephone.
Establishes rapport with study participants in order to encourage complete accurate responses in surveys and interviews, as well participants’ continuing participation in the study.
Works in the field by going to participants’ homes and assisting the CHW in their efforts.
Data entry of surveys may be required
Transcription of interviews may be required
Handles administrative details (ex. time and effort reports, mileage reports)
Other duties as assigned.
Certification/Skills:Trained by project manager or principal on techniques to interview, complete questionnaires, and operate equipment.
