Role Overview: Join us as a Digital Marketing Specialist to oversee the technical aspects of our marketing organization and drive organic growth through SEO, website optimization, and email/SMS marketing. The role will manage our marketing platforms, oversee SEO performance, ensure website and local listings are optimized, and support email/SMS automations to maximize marketing impact. This is a hands-on role that requires excellent project management skills, a deep understanding of marketing technologies, and the ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, data science, and engineering teams. Key Responsibilities: SEO Management:
Manage the daily tasks and projects with the SEO agency, ensuring timely execution and monitoring overall performance.
Implement SEO/website updates in collaboration with development teams.
Manage local listings through SOCI, optimizing the visibility and performance of our 150 studios.
Website Management:
Make basic updates to our Wordpress website, including uploading blogs and creating new location pages.
Implement website conversion optimization tests using Optimizely in partnership with the Lifecycle Marketing Manager.
Act as the liaison for all engineering and development requests, ensuring accurate and timely execution.
Email/SMS Marketing:
Collaborate with the Lifecycle Marketing and Content Marketing managers to build and deploy email/SMS campaigns and marketing automations using Acoustic
Work closely with the data science and engineering teams to create custom queries for segmented marketing campaigns.
Monitor and report on email/SMS performance to drive continuous improvements.
Reporting & Analysis:
Own all marketing reporting, delivering insights on key performance metrics including website traffic, organic performance (SEO, traffic, leads, bookings), and email/SMS performance.
Regularly provide reports and actionable insights to optimize marketing and business performance.
Marketing Platform & Vendor Management:
Manage marketing technology stack, including call tracking, Google Tag Manager, Zapier, and other tools, assisting with integration and ongoing maintenance.
Oversee contractual agreements, platform setup, and budget management for all marketing technology tools.
Position Requirements:
2-4 years’ experience managing marketing technologies, including but not limited to email/SMS marketing automation platforms (e.g. Acoustic, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, or Bloomreach), Optimizely, SOCI, and Google Tag Manager.
Solid understanding of SEO principles and experience managing SEO agencies.
Proficiency in Wordpress and website management tools.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to execute independently and manage cross-functional tasks.
Experience with marketing analytics and reporting tools.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Deadline-driven, process-oriented, and highly organized.
Experience collaborating with development and data science teams.
