United States of America - Texas, AustinJob SummaryReporting to the Vice President of Global Business Services, the AECOM Finance Transformation Program (FTP) Lead is a key leadership role responsible for delivering transformation activities across all finance workstreams driving the implementation of identified standardization and automation solutions as well as achieving the new target operating model and optimized service placement strategy.AECOM’s Finance Transformation focuses on standardizing and harmonizing processes and maximizing automation opportunities across 5 key workstreams: Record to Analyze (R2A), Source to Pay (S2P), Order to Cash (O2C), Hire to Retire (H2R), and Project Accounting (PA).This key position is fundamental to aligning Finance and Accounting across AECOM. It has high visibility across both finance and operational leadership teams worldwide and as such will be required to interact with all levels of management in the business to drive new initiatives and relationships with the Finance Executive Leadership teams, Corporate Finance, Regional Finance and Business Line leadership. This role will take AECOM further up its maturity curve to create a truly ‘best in class’ Finance function and global multifunctional business services organization (GBS).Key responsibilities include:
Provide Project Management to the overall project delivering through GPO’s, key functional leads and SMEs to realise the implementation plan, business case and target operating model defined by AECOM
Deliver the strategic roadmap, business case, and project plan working within AECOM fundamentals and frameworks
Manage streams and governing committees for the Transformation Program
Establish and manage region transition support teams across APAC, Americas, EMEA, and Service Centres – leveraging existing organisational structures, specialist hires and consulting support teams
Work with external consulting partners to ensure alignment with engagement deliverables, timelines and cost budgets
Lead functional teams to drive Change Management, HR, Real Estate, Finance and IT project requirements
Consolidate and track ongoing transformation activities, risks and key performance indicators to drive program objectives
Lead regional and global steering groups and governance review board meetings
Deliver initiatives using AECOM Service Delivery Models and transition/transformational fundamentals
Develop tools and processes to drive program success during transformation
Track program progress through structured governance approach ensuring actions, risks and decisions are tracked and reported
Role can be based anywhere in the US.Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting or related discipline and 14+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 6 years of leadership.Preferred Qualifications
MBA or CPA
10+ years relevant experience in Shared Services and consulting or program management
Ability to actively engage stakeholders, clients and staff to ensure processes are executed consistently
Experience in a multi-function shared service/GBS environment with an understanding of end to end process management
Ability to Lead, motivate and influence others and a diverse range of stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations
Ability to design and deliver transformational initiatives
Excellent interpersonal communications and negotiation skills; proficient at communicating conclusions to leadership in concise manner
Strong financial acumen, analytical skills and ability to effectively problem-solve
Ability to travel
Large scale program management
Experience working with and managing a third-party providers and consultants
Key influencer, communicator and presenter
