Join our great people at our great places designing great projects.This OpportunityOur Water Group is working on an innovative large scale utility relocation design fas part of our overall services for Texas Department of Transportation’s Capital Expressway Project in Austin, TX. We are seeking a Senior Project Coordinator to support the design of complex underground utility relocation projects. This will include interaction with our design teams early in the design process to identify issues and develop alternatives to mitigate those issues. The candidate will also help interface with authorities having jurisdiction to help resolve review comments, other issues, and provide quality assurance and quality control reviews for the work.Your Impact
Work with our design teams on identifying potential issues and developing mitigation, specifically in compliance with Austin Water design standards.
Internal QA/QC to ensure compliance with Austin Water Design standards.
Provide support for project technical staff to relevant to Austin Water standards of practice, design standards, operational standards, etc.
Assist our design teams in developing TXDOT format Standard specifications that comply with Austin Water design standards and specifications.
Assist Engineers of Record in processing and filing of project status forms with Authorities Having Jurisdiction.
Who You AreRequired Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED Required
Familiarity with Austin Water Design, construction, and drafting standards
35+ years experience
Basic competency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point and others.
Basic REVIT skills a plus.
Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively within a team setting, both verbally and in writing.
Basic competency in computer and typing skills
Detailed-oriented and thoroughness.
Self-motivated and flexible to take on new tasks and assist teams.
Deadline oriented, ability to track and maintain and meet multiple concurrent deadlines.
