We’re Jen and Carl — a healthy, active family with a 15-month-old child and a sweet 4-year-old Bernedoodle named Happy.
We recently relocated to Austin and are looking for someone who enjoys helping others and takes pride in creating a warm, organized, and well-run home.

About the Role:
This is a part-time position (with the potential to grow into full-time) for someone who thrives on variety, takes initiative, and enjoys managing both people and projects. You’ll help keep our household running smoothly through organization, coordination, and thoughtful daily support.
Responsibilities:
(We don’t expect perfection — just care, consistency, and initiative.)
- Light tidying, laundry, dishes, and general home upkeep
- Organize closets, drawers, and household systems
- Manage supplies — ensure household items are always stocked
- Grocery shopping, basic meal prep, and coordinating Instacart/Amazon deliveries
- Oversee vendors and household maintenance (e.g., handyman, cleaners)
- Coordinate errands (dry cleaning, returns, post office, etc.)
- Support planning for family travel or events
- Occasional help with dog care and/or childcare coordination
Who You Are:
- Warm, reliable, and proactive — you see what needs to be done and take initiative
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and good at managing multiple priorities
- Flexible and comfortable working around a young child and a friendly dog
- Experienced in household management, housekeeping, or nanny roles
- Excellent communicator and problem-solver
- Positive attitude — you genuinely enjoy helping others and being part of a family team
Details:
Hours: 8–15 hours/week to start (2–3 days/week, 4–6 hours/day); with potential to be full time for the right person
Schedule: Flexible daytime hours (we’re happy to find a rhythm that works for both sides)
Location: Mueller neighborhood, 78723
Compensation: Hourly, depending on experience
Start Date: As soon as the right person is found
