Job Location – Seattle WA or Austin TX or Redwood City CA
Duration 6 months+ (Contract to Hire)
Location Seattle and Austin locations highly preferred. But open to have folks work from any Oracle office in US. Must work in the office due to source code access
Manages programs or projects involving department or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of project to finished state. Oversees plans and directs schedules as well as project budgets. Monitors the program/project from initiation through delivery interfacing with internal customer or department personnel. Organizes project activities that may require interdepartmental meetings and communication ensuring completion of the program/project on schedule and within budget constraint. Desired Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience as hands-on technical project / program manager in UI/UX; preferably in a related industry. • Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and Development/Engineering staff at all levels including the executive level. • Advanced knowledge of the full life cycle of product development and experience launching and operating customer-facing cloud services • Solid analytical, planning, and interpersonal skills with an ability to handle competing demands. • Strong knowledge and understanding of business need with the ability to establish/maintain high level of customer trust and confidence. • Strong experience of software development process models as well as expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment. • Strong skills to evaluate product performance metrics, as well as diagnose and resolve issues. • Experience with technical design discussions and ability to summarize complex trade-offs and options in presentation and technical documentation
Preferred Qualifications: • 8+ years of project management, product design, UI/UX or related experience • BS degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience (MS Preferred) • Thorough understanding of public cloud infrastructure services, such as Compute, Storage, Identity and Networking • Demonstrated knowledge of AWS, Azure or Google IaaS, SaaS and PaaS services. • Ability to effectively represent engineering perspectives to partner organizations, product teams, and executive leadership. • Aptitude to work across and engage individuals and teams located across multiple geographies and or cultures. • Experience in analyzing complex customer contracts to obtain a complete understanding of terms related to security, compliance, privacy, and cloud operations. • Work as a lead contributor individually, and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others as needed/requested.
