We are seeking a Project Manager for a one year assignment working 2-3 days/week on-site at our Austin, Texas client. In this role you will be involved with planning and staging the execution of an initiative to update existing capabilities and switch functionality to a new platform. You will monitor and drive the integration of necessary elements for standing up appropriate security and operations (access management) layers. You will assist in collecting detailed requirements, assembling/monitoring projections and plans for efforts, suggesting optimizations as per their specialty, and coordinating work. You will also be responsible for maintaining and managing the timeline for multiple projects as well as working to identify project risks and issues and proactively manage a plan to mitigate the risks and resolve the issues
Responsibilities and skills must include:
Experience with general IT SDLC processes.
Experience with implementing Enterprise Systems Integration projects.
Experience with large transformation projects.
Experience with mediating business units that may have conflicting requirements.
Experience driving systems integration delivery projects from 3rd party vendors to delivery
acceptance and project closure.
Experience driving every aspect of technical implementation.
Experience with preparing and presenting executive level project communications, project
tracking and stakeholder management.
Ability to create and maintain several project artifacts including Project Timeline, Risk & Issue
Log, Communication Plan, Stakeholder Register etc.
Ability to identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues.
Responsible for project scope delivery adhering to and optimizing schedule, costs, and
resources. Projects include client, partners, and third-party deliverables.
Acts as the counterpart for vendors program leader to ensure customer satisfaction and be the
escalation point for service delivery activities.
Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
Must be a creative thinker to solve issues.
Must be hands-on-project manager for multiple projects

8 Experience in managing all phases of large and complex technical projects.
8 Experience in creating and maintaining various project artifacts including; Project Timeline, Risk & Issue Log, Communication Plan, Stakeholder Register, etc.
8 Experience with general IT SDLC processes.
8 Experience in identifying and managing project risks and issues.
8 Skilled in creating and presenting executive level project communications.
8 Skilled in gathering, reviewing, analyzing, and communicating requirements from business.

8 Skilled in educating business unit staff on standardized processes.
8 Possess strong verbal and written skills in communicating with peers and different levels of
users including executive staff.
8 Skilled in facilitating large group meetings with internal and external resources.
8 Skilled in collaborating with the technical and functional teams to develop the Technical Specification and other documents needed in support of the solution.
8 Experience in implementing Enterprise Systems Integration.
8 Experience driving every aspect of technical implementation.

5 Experience with one or more of the State of Texas government agencies.
5 Experience with multivendor and software professional services for communication service
provider or enterprise customers is preferred.
