Description:Day to Day-to-day responsibilities will include a cross-function collaboration of the central Sustainability, Operations, Facilities, Transportation, Products, and Retail global teams. You will be a central point of contact for a large number of stakeholders globally and will be responsible for reinforcing and shaping a holistic, innovative vision integrating a “business as usual” mindset across the enterprise.This highly visible role will lead in aiding our client’s carbon inventory from an accounting perspective and will be responsible for coordinating and communicating the GHG information across the organization. The position will be ultimately responsible for supplying quality data. To succeed in this role, you will integrate your analytical skills with the ability to handle ambiguity and integrate fast change. Your sense of ownership will be enhanced by a capacity to drive innovative thinking, collaboration with teams, integrate a strategic vision, decision-making, and ability to influence. Other responsibilities include: Develop and maintain GHG emissions accounting governance program Assist in the annual data collection process to develop the annual GHG footprint Validate data and recording of transactions per the frameworks (ie. GHGP) and regulatory requirements Choose, harmonize, periodically update, and validate emission factors in agreement with different business team needs Inform the development of tech tools regarding data collection and footprint calculation Conduct re-baseline assessments Collaborate with the Global Sustainability Tech and Science teams, in expanding tools functionality, and knowledge integration Communicate program status to internal stakeholdersSkills:

Qualifications:

3+ years of Carbon or Greenhouse Gas Accounting, or/and are well versed in ISO 14064, GHG Protocol, etc, and demonstrated experience with boundary setting, data collection and quality, allocation and modeling uncertainty

3+ years experience and demonstrated proficiency in corporate greenhouse gas emissions accounting and reporting, with multiple approaches, including EEIO and LCA

Familiarity with sustainability metrics standards (i.e. GRI) and sustainability rating agencies (CDP, DJSI etc)

Experience with third-party audits and auditors/assurance providers

Experience using carbon accounting software

Emission factor selection and oversight experience

Basic understanding of product life-cycle boundaries and stages and LCA verification

Data-driven individual

Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, environmental science, or related space

Industry Preference: Big Four accounting experience, anyone who has created Carbon inventories

Flexible: Job duties may change from day to day
