Visa Technology & Operations LLC, a Visa Inc. company, needs Staff SW Engineer (multiple openings) in Austin, TX to:Collaborate with senior technical staff and PM to identify, document, plan contingency, track and manage risks and issues until all are resolved.Present technical solutions, capabilities, considerations, and features in business terms.Effectively communicate status, issues, and risks in a precise and timely manner.Responsible for driving large to medium-sized feature projects and technology initiatives in terms of tech specs, design, architecture, and deployment.Provide end to end execution of components being added to platform and scoping out features.Apply programming techniques to design, build, and maintain solution for clients.Develop large scale, enterprise class distributed system or subsystems that require high availability, low latency, and strong data consistency computing.Implement solutions for low-latency, distributed services using open standard technologies.Position reports to the Austin, Texas office and may allow for partial telecommuting.
