This opportunity requires experience in system administration while offering the opportunity to expand in the role for a motivated individual.
Design, implement, configure, and monitor Enterprise storage to meet business needs.
Manage physical hardware in the corporate data centers.
Ensure compliance with vendor best practices, security policies and disaster recovery requirements.
Collaborate with platform teams on storage lifecycle management.
Maintain, monitor, and test data protection solutions for business continuity.
Maintain Cisco MDS Fiber Channel networking environment.
Forecast and plan for yearly expense and capital budgets.
Is responsible for researching, implementing, and maintaining system and platform security to help ensure environment stability, solving complex computer performance and technical problems, as well as developing and following well documented change control procedures.
Level of position will be determined based on experience and skillset.QUALIFICATIONS:Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or a related field
3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure systems engineering or a related field
Desire to learn new technology and manage vendor relationships
Proficiency in administration of enterprise physical servers, storage arrays or data protection
Pattern of initiative and technical innovation, proven problem solving, decision making and project management skills, strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Ability to work on nights, weekends, holidays for 3rd level support and/or system upgrades in support of Plant downtime availability
Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident or have the authorization to work in the United States

Preferred
Experience with Netapp, Dell storage, IBM storage and Cisco MDS
Experience with Rubrik and IBM Storage Protect
Strong knowledge of ITS infrastructure and strong troubleshooting experience, including networking and TCP/IP Concepts, server hardware
