Our mission is to deliver exceptional guest experiences through thoughtfully designed and curated spaces. We are seeking a temporary Package Handler to support our upcoming project by managing furniture deliveries onsite for a 1 to 1.5 month period.
Job Description:
The Package Handler will be responsible for receiving, organizing, and moving furniture packages at our properties. The role requires close coordination with delivery schedules, ensuring all items are properly sorted and moved to the correct rooms within the property. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, physically capable of handling furniture, and reliable with strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
Track and monitor scheduled furniture delivery dates
Be present onsite for deliveries to ensure items are properly received
Move packages from delivery point into the property (may involve moving items upstairs)
Sort and organize up to 40 pieces of furniture, assigning each to its appropriate room (e.g., living room, bedroom #1, etc.)
Log and report any damages or issues related to the deliveries
Keep an accurate record of all deliveries, including timestamps and condition reports
Qualifications:
Must have consistent access to the internet for tracking deliveries and logging data
Be available onsite for each scheduled delivery date
Comfortable with physical work, including moving packages from outside to inside the property
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring all items are placed in the correct rooms
