Are you detail-oriented, reliable, and looking for a hands-on opportunity in the field of telecommunications? We are seeking a dedicated Fiber Optic Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for the installation, maintenance of fiber optic cables and related equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, test, and troubleshoot fiber optic cables and equipment.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on fiber optic networks.
- Document work performed
- Ensure all work meets industry standards and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Reliable Vehicle: Must have a dependable car for traveling to job sites.
- Willingness to Travel: Comfortable traveling within Austin and surrounding areas for work assignments.
- Experience: Previous experience in fiber optic work or a related field is preferred but not required. We offer training for the right candidate.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, work in various weather conditions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and quality in all tasks.
