Fire Gear Inspection Associate / Driver
The Fire Gear Inspection Associate & Driver is a flex position (30-45 hours depending on the week) that is responsible for picking up and delivering customers’ firefighter turnout gear and equipment orders. You will take ownership over the full breakdown, inspection, and buildup of the fire gear while it is in the store. This position has excellent advancement opportunities, providing employees with the foundation needed for entry level company opportunities.
Job duties include:
Accurately record data while completing a full inspection & cleaning on fire gear; will train.
Basic cleaning and organizing of the warehouse
Driving duties; picking up/dropping off packages & fire gear from departments in and around central TX
Working an average of 30-45 hours and occasionally includes weekend and/or holiday work in all weather conditions
Assisting the Operations Specialist with occasional tasks
This position is mostly a M-F, daytime shift.
This job does not have benefits other than pay, overtime and bonuses.
The ideal candidate:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Preferably Bilingual (English & Spanish)
Reliable with a positive attitude
Demonstrate a sense of urgency to meet customer time commitments
Ability to take initiative and work independently and with coworkers to accomplish define goals in a fast-paced environment
Organizational abilities and ability to multitask.
Has basic math and measuring skills.
Must be authorized to work in the US
