We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team and help maintain the beauty and functionality of our site.
Position Overview: As a Maintenance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and appearance of our property. You will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks, including but not limited to, repairs, landscaping, plumbing, electrical work, and general upkeep. Your attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction will help create a memorable experience for our visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine inspections of accommodations and common areas to identify maintenance needs.
Perform repairs and maintenance tasks, such as fixing plumbing issues, repairing electrical systems, and addressing HVAC problems.
Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the site, including landscaping, painting, and general upkeep.
Ensure that the unit upkeep is performed weekly to address any wear and tear on the units.
Respond to guest requests and inquiries in a professional and timely manner (rarely necessary).
Collaborate with the site management team to plan and prioritize maintenance projects.
Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
Qualifications:
Versatile and adaptable
Proven experience in maintenance and repair work.
Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems and carpentry skills
Able to operate a skid steer
Valid driver license
Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures (previous construction industry experience is an asset)
Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Comfort working in occasional high-stress environment with weather fluctuations
Customer-oriented
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Availability to occasionally work weekends, holidays, and on-call as needed.
