Austin Moss Creations is a fast-growing design studio specializing in custom moss walls and biophilic art installations for hotels, restaurants, offices, and homes across the country. We’re a startup with big ambitions, and we’re looking for hardworking, hands-on Moss Art Assistants who want to grow with us and play a key role in bringing our projects to life.
This is not a desk job. You’ll be working directly with natural materials, substrates, and adhesives to help build large-scale, one-of-a-kind pieces. It can be physically demanding at times, but for the right person — someone who thrives in a creative, fast-paced environment — it’s incredibly rewarding. If you’re reliable, detail-driven, and excited to help build something bigger than yourself, this could be the perfect fit.
Responsibilities:
Receive and manage moss shipments: sorting, organizing, and tracking inventory
Learn and apply techniques for working with substrates and adhesives
Assist with assembly, packaging, and staging of moss panels and art pieces
Keep the studio clean, organized, and production-ready
Support the team during larger builds, deliveries, and installation projects
Who We’re Looking For:
Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply (English & Spanish a plus)
Great fit for motivated students or anyone looking for hands-on creative work
Positive, reliable, drama-free attitude — startup life requires team players
Strong organizational skills and the ability to stay focused
Comfortable with repetitive tasks when needed
Takes ownership, shows up on time, and is eager to learn
Able to lift 10–20 lbs and work on your feet
Additional Details:
Contractor-based / 1099 position
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM
