We operate/manage a number of short term rentals in Central Austin and need an individual with experience and a knack for customer service to assist with hosting of the properties. Compensation is $30-$40 per hour with approximately 12 to 15 hours of work in a typical month. The work requires someone with a flexible schedule and the ability to quickly answer messages via phone/apps.
Ideally, you have customer service experience, live within a short drive of Central Austin (78702 and 78704) and are available during off times for guest questions. Training will be provided; this is a great opportunity to learn the STR business and get inside knowledge of hospitality operations.
Duties include:
Being the lead contact for guests staying at our properties, including sending welcome messages and answering questions.
Restocking supplies at the properties on a monthly/bi-monthly basis
Being available to visit in person during guest emergencies (relatively rare)
Preferred but not required:
Experience in routine home maintenance/handyman work
