Senior Account Executive – Banking Software Sales

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Account Executive to lead enterprise sales of our advanced banking and financial software solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of the financial services industry, a strong track record in enterprise software sales, and the ability to build trusted relationships with C-level executives across banks and financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive full-cycle enterprise sales of banking software solutions, including CRM, digital banking, core banking, payments, risk management, and compliance platforms.

Develop and execute strategic account plans to penetrate new markets and expand existing relationships.

Manage complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and decision-makers.

Conduct product demos and presentations tailored to executive and technical audiences.

Collaborate with product, marketing, and solutions engineering teams to align client needs with product capabilities.

Negotiate high-value contracts and ensure successful handoffs to implementation and customer success teams.

Maintain an accurate pipeline and forecast using CRM tools.

Stay current with industry trends, competitor offerings, and evolving customer demands in banking technology.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).

7+ years of enterprise software sales experience, with at least 3 years selling into banks or financial institutions.

Proven success achieving and exceeding multi-million-dollar sales quotas.

Strong understanding of banking operations, digital transformation, and fintech ecosystems.

Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Ability to manage long sales cycles with strategic, consultative selling techniques.

Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.

Preferred Experience:

Selling core banking, digital banking, or payment platforms (e.g., Temenos, FIS, Finastra, nCino, or similar).

Established network of executive contacts within mid-sized to large banks.

Familiarity with SaaS, cloud infrastructure, and API-driven financial platforms.
