Frankenstein Computers is a dynamic IT support and computer repair company that has been growing in Austin since 1999. Our operations are expanding and we are looking for a highly qualified individual to join our team/family. We work Monday – Friday, 8 to 5 and although there is usually overtime available, it is never mandatory. Technician Duties:
This will be a multi-faceted role, providing support both remotely and on-site as needed.
Perform routine maintenance on workstations and network equipment.
Troubleshoot and issues on PCs and MACs.
Troubleshoot and repair network malfunctions, connections to printers, other peripherals.
Provide over the phone, remote client support.
Troubleshoot and repair software issues on client systems remotely.
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs for internal workstations & notebooks as needed.
Document, track, monitor, and close open tickets to ensure a timely resolution using company procedures and best practices.
Must be able to demonstrate the ability to “figure it out” and have strong “Google-Fu.”
Experience with 365 and Gsuite a plus.
This position is a front-line, customer facing role, so solid communications skills are critical for success.
