Hiring: Custom Home Builder - Construction Manager
We’re looking for a dynamic leader to take on a dual-role in custom home building across the Austin area (Lake Communities – Highland Lake) , including the surrounding Hill Country, Marble Falls, Granite Shoals and more.
This position blends two key elements:
Superintendent (Boots on the Ground Leadership) with 5+ yrs in Custom Homes:
As the Superintendent, you’ll be hands-on in managing the construction of luxury, one-of-a-kind custom homes. You'll oversee subcontractors, vendors, and all project participants—most importantly, the homeowner—ensuring seamless execution from start to finish. Quality control, scheduling, budgeting, and problem-solving are essential to your success. A strong Superintendent anticipates challenges before they arise, proactively preventing delays and costly issues. Your ability to adapt, troubleshoot, and implement creative solutions will be invaluable.
Construction Manager (Client & Project Oversight)
Min 5-7 Yrs in Custom Home Building
2M - 4M + range Per home exp. ( ideal)
OSHA 30
Degree in Construction Mgmt or similiar
Proven success with references and recomendations in the industry
Ability to be onsite at projects daily, Hill Country surroudning Austin - can be as far as Marble Fallas - or Granite Shoals
Beyond site management, this role also encompasses the responsibilities of a Construction Manager, ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction. You’ll help set schedules, manage expectations, source and interview vendors, and act as a critical liaison between the design team and the homeowner. Navigating difficult conversations—such as scope creep, owner-initiated changes, or material delays—requires finesse, experience, and a solutions-oriented mindset. A top-tier Construction Manager builds trust and rapport with clients, anticipating needs and delivering an exceptional experience.
