Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Junior Litigation Associate Attorney to join our law firm client's team in Beaumont, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for handling various legal responsibilities including legal research, drafting, reviewing, and analyzing legal documents. Your role will also involve appearing in court for conferences, hearings, conducting legal research, and going to trial. Texas bar license required and 1-3 years of practice experience, preferably with some exposure to insurance defense. This is an in-office role.Responsibilities: Handle a variety of legal responsibilities, including the drafting, reviewing, and analyzing of legal documents, reports, pleadings, motions, and discovery. Attend mediations and appear in court for conferences and hearings. Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case preparation. Manage complex cases and lead discovery efforts. Conduct depositions and consult with expert witnesses. Utilize case management software to maintain accurate customer records and manage cases. Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently. Maintain proficiency in MS365 software applications including Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel. Use software tools like Clio and Westlaw to support legal research and case management. Handle complaint administration and insurance defense litigation. Participate in civil litigation and briefing activities.Requirements Must have a minimum of one year of experience as a Litigation Associate Attorney Proficient in using 3M, Adobe Acrobat, and Case Management Software Knowledge of Conveyancer and Document Management is required Experience in Briefing, Civil Litigation, and Claim Administration is a must Must have skills in Complaint Handling and Consumer Electronics Familiarity with Insurance Defense Litigation is required Must be based in Beaumont, TX or willing to relocate Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills Must have a law degree from an accredited law school Must be licensed to practice law in the state of Texas Proven ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines Must have excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills Must be a team-player and have the ability to work independently.
